Bell'Esempio Di Crowdmap Italiano Quello Genovese!

Vedi GENOVA MAPPE IN 5 MINUTI
In sintesi gli obiettivi sono:

Joomla! 2.5: Free Image Map Now Available (And How To Install It).

Hello, when you are committed to web develop a new web site there are some basic features you may not to miss. One of them is the one that let you add with ease URLs to more than one area of your image; that is the image map or image mapping feature. With this article I let all of the Joomla! 2.5 users know on the recent availability (thanks to my kind request to Mr. Paul FRANKLIN) of the image map feature by adding the image map plugin in the JCK Editor Manager.  One common limitation for this feature for both: Wordpress and Joomla! is that it does not work with the Chrome browser!

Image Map CMS Overview

Wordpress

In Wordpress is available a great content editor plugin, I guess the more used and well known: Ultimate tinyMCE: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/. It is free it and provides the image map button:

Below the settings page:

 Here is how to use it:

Joomla! 1.5

If you are a Joomla!nian the “thing” become a little difficult. We have now to consider Joomla! 1.5 and Joomla! 2.5. For the earlier version - that still offers a greater numbers of free extensions, if compared to the 2.5 one, capable of fulfill all of your needs – there is this set up guide (tested with Joomla 1.5.12 and JoomlaFCK 2.6.4.1.):
  1. download the FCKeditor from: http://www.joomlafckeditor.com/downloads.
  2. place the imgmap plugin into {joomla}\plugins\editors\fckeditor\editor\plugins
  3. in {joomla}\plugins\editors\fckeditor\fckconfig.js somewhere at the end of the file add: FCKConfig.Plugins.Add( 'imgmap', 'en') ;
  4. in {joomla}\plugins\editors\fckeditor\editor\jtoolbarsetconfig.xml you will find the toolbar sets (Advanced/Creative/Blog/Default). Locate: <plugin name="Image" acl="*"/> in the toolbarset you want to use, and add: <plugin name="imgmapPopup" acl="*"/>
    Before to launch the editor do the following: go to the page of the plugin “Editor – JoomlaFCK” settings, and change the skin from: Office2007 to default:

    otherwise you’ll see only a missing icon.
    Finally, clear your browser cache and launch article editor. You should see the imgmap icon next to the image icon.

    Joomla! 2.5

    When I tried to web search for finding the image map for Joomla! 2.5 I was surprised there was nothing! Only commercial plugin/add on. My first workaround was: I create the article withthe image map in my local Joomla! 1.5 with FCKeditor then I edited it for being published in Joomla! 2.5 (it is about changing the address of the image in the Joomla! 1.5 HTML generated code to the Joomla! 2.5).   Since the only working free plugin for Joomla! seemed to be the one of the FCKeditor I went to its web site to try to post a feedback in the forum for underline the need to provide the first Joomla! 2.5 free plugin! With my great surprise I received the plugin from: Mr. Paul FRANKLIN.
    Here my post: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/forum/37-general-questions/5089-i-did-not-find-any-image-mapping-feature#5133
    Once again I remember you this is tested on Firefox 20; it does not work on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 10!

    In order to use it:
    1. download plg_jckeditor5.2_stable.zip here: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/downloads/viewdownload/42-version-52-stable/88-plgjckeditor52stablezip and install it;
    2. then download and install JCK Editor Manager [Lite Edition] v. 4.7: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/834478/com_j25_jckman_light.47.zip
    3.   finally download and install the  image map pluginhttp://www.joomlackeditor.com/images/fbfiles/files/imgmap.zip  Here is the link on how to install a JCK Editor plugin: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/installation-guide?start=16

    How To Set Up One Of Your Photos As Twitter Full Screen Background.

    Hello, yesterday in my Twitter stream I happened to see the photo below, I liked it and I tried to set it up as my new Twitter background. Also it might be a quick to do thing it took me one day to be done! Setting up a new background for my twitter page with one of my preferred photo. The goal was to use the full screen to display the photo.

    Hello, yesterday in my Twitter stream I happened to see the photo below, I liked it and I tried to se it up as my new Twitter background. Also it might be a quick to do thing it took me one day to be done!
Setting up a new background for my twitter page with one of my preferred photo.
The goal was to use the full screen to display the photo.<p></p>

That above is the original photo. As you may see It needed to be edited. Some rotation first. After the rotation editing I try to simply upload it to my twitter account and it was displayed top left; it did not fill the full background of my Twitter page!
I then started a web search to find the right way to set it up as desired and I was buried by the results.
One of the best articles on the topic was this:

After having read it (I took 30 minutes) I realized I had to enlarge my photo and retrying to upload it. My first easy attempt did not was successfully and after some other attempts I thinked it might exists a web site that could do the job for me and free.
So I spent some hours trying to find something useful and ... once again among the results buried me I found this great web site:

That was the only one real working in the following terms: you upload your own photo or image to use as full or tiled background, you may select more than one background among the available (uploaded or provided by default), you may set the time: day, week, month you want to automatically change your background.
After my search I stiil had the issue of how to fit my background to cover the fukk screen of my Twitter page.
When I tried to use some the backgrounds of that web site I noticed its default images had the same size and file type: 1280x900 pixel. Most of all, they worked; I mean they covered almost all of my screen height and width (twitter page)!
So I try to resize my photo with 1920x1200 and it fit well for my screen resolution as you may see below.<p></p>

Photoshop helped me a lot, to not exceed the 800 KB Twitter limit of the file size with the window that appears, in the JPEG saving feature only (where it is possible to see on the left the size value increasing/decreasing when you set the bar for the compression).
I hope that day spent only to set up my photo as my new background may save time for peoples who have to do the same.
Bye the way, that common photo (for the common observer) hide a great phylosopher, is there anybody write in a comment who is him and where?
Thank you.

    Video: Here Is The Video When A Notebook Shutdown Randomly

    TheI use an HP elitebook 8540w notebook and I happen more and more frequently to see it shut down randomly. Here are two videos I taked: The question is: how was possible to know when to take the videos if the shut down happened randomly? Today every time I switched it on after some minutes it shut down!

    Today is happening every time I switch my notebook on! I wonder why that is possible?

    Linkem: Port Mapping Della Porta 80 Del Router: Huawei BM635 Echolife

    Ecco finalmente dettagliatamente documentato come effettuare il port mapping (port forwarding) della porta 80 per gli utenti di Linkem; questa informazione non è reperibile in rete nemmeno sul sito di ufficiale del provider! Le operatrici del call center non danno informazioni su tecnici esterni per l'assistenza tecnica dei router Huawei.

    Per fare il punto della situazione per chi ancora non si è trovato nella necessità di arrivare ad impostare il port mapping bisogna partire dall'inizio. Sempre più spesso capita di realizzare sul proprio PC un sito internet o di installare un dispositivo di rete come un NAS o infine più prosaicamente una videocamera di videosorveglianza; in tutti quei casi dove è necessario accedere da internet alla propria postazione domestica o d'ufficio e si ha Linkem come provider bisogna sapere che:
    1. la porta 80 - il servizio relativo al web - di ogni indirizzo IP che viene assegnato da Linkem non è disponibile;
    2. la documentazione su come ovviare non è disponibile nemmeno sul sito ufficiale di Linkem (tranne per il port mapping di porte consentite dal provider come la 21 quella dell'esempio presente sul sito ufficiale);
    3. dopo approfondite ricerche sul web al momento non c'è modo di sapere come ovviare e riuscire comunque ad accedere alla porta 80 sul router Huawei BM635;
    4. il sito ufficiale Huawei non ha nessun riferimento ne forum attivo che fornisce assistenza mirata a raggiungere lo scopo;
    5. dulcis in fundo non sono reperibili nemmeno tecnici a pagamento che possano essere utili allo scopo.
    Questo quindi rappresenta il primo ed al momento unico articolo completo e dettagliato sull'argomento!
    Ogni volta che si usa un browser per accedere ad un sito il protocollo TCP/IP provvede ad effettuare una richiesta del servizio 80 (web) sull'IP che viene determinato dal DNS del provider dal nome digitato. Quindi se abbiamo creato un sito web sul nostro PC di casa o di ufficio e vogliamo che sia visibile a chiunque navighi il web e siamo utenti del provider Linkem dobbiamo configurare il nostro router in modo che la richiesta venga "evasa" nonostante la porta 80 non sia disponibile per l'IP pubblico. Per fare ciò bisogna che quella richiesta venga "reindirizzata" in fase di "chiamata" del servizio - browser che vuole accdere al nostro sito - su una porta esterna diversa, ad esempio la 8080, e tramite il router indirizzata all'host ed alla porta 80 (PC o altro dispositivo della LAN interna) che deve rispondere alla richiesta. Questo si attua così:
    1. configurando il router secondo le indicazioni riportate nell'immagine scaricabile di sopra;
    2. questo non basta; per evitare di dover ogni volta digitare nel browser il numero di porta: 8080 e l'indirizzo IP, ad es.: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/www.nomesito.com; è necessario attivare un servizio gratuito di reindirizzamento dalla porta 8080 alla 80 della LAN interna come mostrato nella figura in basso:
    Cliccare sullo snap per leggere.
    • per verificare la corretta impostazione del router e il corretto funzionamento della risorsa interna (sito web, NAS, web cam per video sorveglianza, ecc.) alla quale si desidera avere accesso da web non bisogna dimenticarsi di accedere alla stessa non dall'interno della LAN cui fa riferimento l'IP assegnato da Linkem che si è configurato ma da un IP o un provider diverso.

    Italiani Di Crimea Deportati Da Stalin: Una Storia Ancora Sconosciuta!

    Cerimonia in ricordo della deportazione degli italiani di Crimea - Milano, 21 gennaio 2012. Lo scorso 21 gennaio, alla Provincia di Milano, è stata scritta una bella pagina di storia e di solidarietà a favore della nostra comunità dei pugliesi di Crimea, che attendono da 70 anni il riconoscimento dello status di deportati. Pubblichiamo in allegato un articolo che rende conto della cerimonia. Su questo tema vi proponiamo il DocuFilm "Puglia oltre il Mediterraneo" realizzato da Tito Manlio Altomare e cofinanziato dall'Unione Europea e dalla Regione Puglia. Frutto di un lungo e caparbio lavoro di ricerca e di reperimento di testimonianze dirette, questo documentario storico ricostruisce la tremenda diaspora della comunità pugliese in Crimea: http://www.darapri.it/eventi/oltreilmed/oltreilmed.htm

    CrisisMappers Webinar

    This presentation will look at crisis mapping technology from the perspective of an attacker such as a hostile government, terrorist organization, or organized crime group. From this point of view we will see what can be done to prevent access to crisis maps, manipulate data received by crisis mapping platforms, and expose those using the systems to attack.

    The presentation will use examples of actual vulnerabilities and attacks that have already been seen in the wild and will conclude with some of the steps that have been taken to defend crisis maps in the field.

    George Chamales has spent the last decade working in a wide range of positions in the computer security field. His list of current and former government employers includes the US Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Energy. In the private sector, he's worked as a security architect, developer, and corporate pen-tester (hacker) targeting Fortune 500 companies.

    He is an active member of the crisis mapping community where he develops new tools and capabilities, co-founded of the Crisis Mapper's Standby Task Force, and has served as the technical lead for numerous deployments including LibyaCrisisMap.net, Pakreport.org, and SudanVoteMonitor.com
